Our tester parties are a sampling of our actual photoshoots, designed to give you information about the studio, answer all questions and allow you to check it all out before ever booking an actual photoshoot with our studio. We even have a tester party package that includes a mini-photoshoot so you really get the best sampling of what our photoshoots are like!

Quickie Tester - FREE!

• The Quickie Tester party package is completely free! During your party you and your party guests will be able to ask questions, check out the studio sets & props, and of course have fun checking out all the wardrobe, shoes, jewelry and other accessories available for use during photoshoots. Each guest at your party will receive an information folder to take home with them, which will include information on our studio, photoshoot packages available, photo sets you can do, and more.

• Guests will have the option to book a photoshoot during the party - and if they do, they'll receive a bonus offer!! The bonus offer will vary depending on the photoshoot package they book, but will include offers such as bonus images, money off the photoshoot package, a bonus mini-look, a bonus main look, etc. Each guest booking a photoshoot will select her bonus by picking an offer from a bowl of offers. The bonus offer is only good if the guest books her photoshoot during the party!!

Photoshoot Tester - $20 per guest

• The Photoshoot Tester party package is a pay-per-person party. Each guest will pay an even $20 (no tax or shipping added).

• During your party you and your party guests will be able to ask questions, check out the studio sets & props, and of course have fun checking out all the wardrobe, shoes, jewelry and other accessories available for use during photoshoots. Each guest at your party will receive an information folder to take home with them, which will include information on our studio, photoshoot packages available, photo sets you can do, and more.

• Each guest will receive a mini-photoshoot that shot against a white background. A chair will be used as your main prop, although completely optional to use. You can also use small hand-held props too (like sports equipment or a pillow).

• Each guest will receive 25 images from their mini-photoshoot, which will be given in both high-res and web-sized digital files. No retouching included, but can be purchased separately.

• Guests will have the option to book a photoshoot during the party - and if they do, they'll receive a bonus offer!! The bonus offer will vary depending on the photoshoot package they book, but will include offers such as bonus images, money off the photoshoot package, a bonus mini-look, a bonus main look, etc. Each guest booking a photoshoot will select her bonus by picking an offer from a bowl of offers. How To Book A Tester Party:

It's easy to book a tester party - just send an email to photo@valentinephotostudio.com after you've read over all the FAQ's listed below. When contacting us, please include the following:

• The tester party package you'd like to schedule.

• The number of guests that will be attending.

• The date and time you'd like to have your tester party.

The frequently asked questions and their answers listed below apply to all tester party packages.

Q: When can I schedule my tester party?

A: Any day of the week with morning, afternoon and evening appointments available. We do not schedule Tester parties in November and December due to our crazy busy holiday schedule.

Q: Who can attend a tester party?

A: Our tester parties are for females ages 18 and over who are interested in booking a photoshoot with our studio. We have a no-men allowed policy at our studio, and do not allow minors due to the type of photography services we offer.

Q: How far in advanced should I schedule my tester party?

A: We request at least two days notice, but recommend booking your tester party as soon as you know you want to have one. We may also be able to work with last minute requests.

Q: How many guests can attend a tester party?

A: There is no minimum amount of guests (except for the Photoshoot Tester Party that requires a minimum of 2 guests), but because the studio is not set-up to accommodate large groups of people, we have to put a ten person maximum on our tester parties. If you have more than ten people interested in having a tester party with us, contact us to see if we can accommodate your party size.

Q: Can I have a tester party with a combination of Quickie Tester and Photoshoot Tester party guests?

A: Yes! You can have party guests who only want to schedule a Quickie Tester and party guests who want to schedule the Photoshoot Tester. Just keep in mind for any combined tester party there must be at least two guests doing the Photoshoot Tester party package.

Q: How long will my party last?

A: It varies from party to party. Our Quickie Tester parties are scheduled to be a maximum of one hour in length and usually do not go over that time. Our Photoshoot Tester parties are scheduled to be a maximum of two hours in length, but will depend on the number of guests attending.

Q: What if I need to re-schedule or cancel my tester party?

A: If you need to re-schedule or cancel your tester party please contact us as soon as possible. We request at least 48 hours notice but understand last minute issues can arise.

Q: If I already had a tester party, can I have another one?

A: Each guest can attend one photoshoot tester party per calendar year - but may attend as many quickie tester parties as they'd like. The reason we limit the amount of photoshoot tester parties a single client can attend is because of the low, low price for the mini-photoshoot. We can only offer that price once per year, per client.

The frequently asked questions and their answers listed below apply specifically to the Photoshoot Tester party package.

Q: When do we pay?

A: Each guest will pay on the day of your party, prior to the start of the party. Payments accepted at the studio are credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express) and exact cash. Guests can also pay in advance by making a direct PayPal payment to the studio.

Q: Is there tax or shipping costs?

A: Not at all! We take care of those costs for you. Each guest pays just $20.

Q: What photo set options can we choose from?

A: For our photoshoot tester parties the background will be white. A chair can be used as a prop or other hand-held props (like a pillow or sports equipment).

Q: Can we use other props?

A: You can use small, hand-held props that are available at the studio (pillows, sports equipment, etc.). You can also bring your own hand-held props. Any large props (such as the school girl desk or teachers desk), or small props that require set-up/clean-up (such as rose petals or faux diamonds), are not allowed for photoshoot tester parties.

Q: Can I use more than one wardrobe choice for my mini-photoshoot?

A: No. Only one wardrobe choice is permitted for our photoshoot tester parties. Please do not ask us to bend this rule.

Q: How many poses can I do?

A: We never set a minimum or maximum amount of poses a client is permitted to do. We just don't work that way here. Instead, we just go with the flow! We'll of course discuss the poses you do want to do, and any poses you want to test out to see how they will look for your actual photoshoot you plan to book next.

Q: How will I receive my images (what size files)?

A: You will receive your images in both high-res and web-sized digital files. The high-res digital files are the perfect size for having prints made, but the files are too large to upload online or email to friends. The web-sized digital files are the perfect size for uploading online and emailing to friends, but the files are too small to have prints made. Both the high-res and web-sized digital files will be put on a CD. You will receive a release that grants limited usage of the images (the release will list specifics on what can and cannot be done with the images). The images will be in color only, and no retouching will be done. You can purchase retouched images if you wish, but you are not required to.

Q: When will I receive my images?

A: We'll mail each guest the images from the party within one week from the party date. Sometimes it could take a little longer depending on our current work load and there are times when your images will mail out within a day or two after your party.
