Make-up Artist Policies

If you'd like to book a make-up artist for your photoshoot please let us know sooner rather than later. Our make-up artists do not work exclusively with our studio and may have other obligations to attend to.

A non-refundable $50 deposit, or placing a valid credit card on file is required to book their services.

Option 1: Pay Deposit

  • A $50 non-refundable deposit will secure a make-up artist for your photoshoot appointment.

  • If you need to re-schedule your photoshoot you must give at least one weeks notice in order to have your make-up artist deposit transferred to another photoshoot appointment.

  • If you re-schedule without at least one weeks notice your deposit may be forfeited. We will work with the make-up artist to see if she is willing to work with your last minute appointment change.

  • If you are a no-show to your appointment your deposit will be forfeited.

  • If you cancel your photoshoot your make-up artist deposit will be refunded to you with at three weeks notice. Without three weeks notice your make-up artist deposit will apply as a credit that can be transferred to a friend or family member. In some cases the make-up artist may agree to return your deposit.

Your make-up artist deposit will be due at the time you book their services. Before paying on our website please let us confirm we have booked a make-up artist for your photoshoot. In some cases we may have you pay your deposit directly to the make-up artist.

Your make-up artist deposit will apply towards the remaining balance due for their services. Your remaining balance is due on the day of your photoshoot. Please plan to pay in exact change only (cash). If you cannot pay by cash on the day of your photoshoot you can make arrangements ahead of time to pay by an alternative method (PayPal, credit card or even check).

Option 2: Keep a Credit Card on File

  • A valid credit card will be kept on file at the studio.

  • Your card will not be charged for any reason, unless you do not abide by the make-up artist policies.

  • If you need to re-schedule your photoshoot you must give at least one weeks notice.

  • If you re-schedule without at least one weeks notice your deposit may be forfeited and your credit card on file will be charged $50. We will work with the make-up artist to see if she is willing to work with your last minute appointment change and avoid charging your card the deposit.

  • If you are a no-show to your appointment your deposit will be forfeited and your credit card on file will be charged $50.

  • If you cancel your photoshoot and provide us with at least three weeks notice your credit card on file will not be charged. Without three weeks notice your credit card on file will be charged the $50 deposit, and your make-up artist deposit will apply as a credit that can be transferred to a friend or family member. In some cases the make-up artist may agree to not charge your deposit.

Our make-up artists require a $50 deposit or credit card on file to protect themselves in the event you do not show up. By booking your appointment they've given up an available date for other clients to book their services. They want you to be as committed to your photoshoot appointment as we are.

Your credit card information can be given to our studio over the phone or in person at the studio. Once your photoshoot is over, your credit card information will be removed from our files.
